| The Family History Society of Arizona, Inc., is a non-profit organization
formed in 1983 to promote the study and research of family histories; to encourage the collection, preservation and dissemination of materials related to genealogical research; and to encourage and instruct members in the ethical principles, scientific methods and effective techniques of genealogical research. |
| I have been a member and very active in this organization since 1988. I am a past newsletter editor and a past quarterly editor. I helped to form the East Valley, Tempe and Scottsdale Chapters. Currently I am President of the Scottsdale Chapter. I have given lectures to all eight chapters on more than one occasion. |
