This is a very interesting 'reminiscence' attributed to Morgan Brown IV, brother to Joseph Brown and uncle of our Morgan A. Brown, in which he gives a vivid account of his early life and some of his experiences during the Revolution. Especially the first battle of Charleston in the summer of 1776. This account was printed in the October 1859 issue of Russell's Magazine recently posted by Google Books. Click here and scroll to page 59 to read the reminiscences completely.
