Paslay Family Bible: Originally belonging to Edmund Taylor Paslay, son of Captain Robert Pasley, this bible passed down through the family for a few generations until it belonged to Henry Milam who died in 1963. It was transcribed by local Laurens County genealogist and historian Mrs. C. B. Pulley in the 1960s or 1970s while in the possession the widow Mrs. Henry Milam.

The following is a transcript of the Inventory of the estate of Robert Paisley, Sr., Planter of Prince Frederick's Parish, South Carolina. Dated April 14th, 1761 and presented to the Charleston Probate Court, South Carolina Inventories Book, 1758-1761, Volume 85B, page 860.
