Click Here for a biography of Hardy Wilbanks, born circa 1780-1790 in South Carolina, migrated to Warren County, Kentucky, then Illinois, then to Pulaski County, Arkansas, and finally settling in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana where he died between 1840 and 1850.
Click Here for a biography of John Holland Wilbanks, born December 20, 1838 in Georgia; possibly Cherokee County. He is one of three Wilbanks Patriarchs of the Sand Mountain Alabama region whose parentage is unknown but is suspected of being William and Alvina/Savina Wilbanks of Cherokee County, Georgia. Miles settled in Marshall County, Alabama, near Shadrack Wilbanks by 1870. By 1880 he is found in Dade County, Missouri.

John married Rebecca Martha Morgan. They lived in Jackson County, Alabama.

He married Laura Anna Cabiness / Cabaniss and lived in Jackson County, Alabama.
